Mechanical Package Engineer

We are seeking an experienced mechanical package engineer for a 6-month temporary position.
You will be responsible for the engineering, coordination, and procurement of mechanical packages for a Gas and Fume Treatment Center, including critical rotating and static equipment.


Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Skøyen

Responsibilities:

• Review and implement requirements in contract documents, standards, and project documents.
• Prepare technical data, specifications, purchase requisitions, and as-built documentation.
• Evaluate supplier offers and provide technical support during negotiations.
• Follow up on vendor documentation and drawings.
• Support installation, completion, and commissioning on site.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Engineering (MSc, BSc or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering or construction coordination position of heavy industrial equipment, preferably from the oil and gas industry.
• Good knowledge of relevant mechanical equipment.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Good organizational and coordination skills.
